Recently, the RHM has successfully delivered a GENMA 3500-ton full-slewing offshore crane, which injects momentum into the development of China's offshore wind power. The machine has a maximum lifting capacity of 3,500 t, a maximum lifting height of 120 m and a maximum work radius of 95 m in fixed tail-suspension, and has operational functions including lifting, luffing and slewing.

 

 
In terms of the exterior structure, the main structure of the GENMA 3500-ton full-slewing offshore crane complete machine is made of ultra high strength materials. For the slewing part, a series of lightweight designs such as trolley slewing bearings are adopted drawing upon the advanced foreign technical experience. Through reasonable design and ingenious matching, the weight of the complete machine is reduced to the greatest extent.

 


With the low self-weight, high lifting capacity, large installation height and large operating range, the equipment is outstanding in load carrying capacity and operating range. But as an outstanding "offshore hercules", a good offshore crane should not only have "long arms" and "strong strength" but also possesses other capabilities to perform the hoisting operation for large offshore wind turbines accurately, efficiently and stably.


l Flexible and accurate


For the special work conditions and requirements of offshore wind power equipment, the GENMA 3500-ton full-slewing offshore crane adopts a central collector for power supply, which empowers the equipment to perform 360-degree full slewing in situ flexibly. Also, the equipment applies hook-stabilizing technology that can effectively prevent the hook from swinging, thus facilitating the accurate landing in hoisting operations and improving the hoisting efficiency of the equipment.

 


l Safe and reliable


Due to the particularity of the natural marine environment and the operating environment, the stability of hoisting operation is fundamental to its safety. To ensure the safety of the hoisting operation of the equipment, GENMA product designers have gathered many advanced elements in the design of the complete machine to ensure that the crane works safely and reliably by integrating multiple safety protection devices.


For the particular work conditions and requirements of the offshore wind power equipment, GENMA 3500-ton full-slewing offshore cranes adopt the AFE Frequency Conversion Driving System, which can effectively suppress the impact of harmonics generated by the drive on the ship's power grid and ensure the sound operation of various electrical equipment on the ships.


In addition, the equipment has advanced PLC intelligent control system, monitoring and alarm system and ship information system, which can realize the functions of precise control and real-time monitoring of product work conditions, and realize the safety control during the operation of the equipment through digital information technology.

 


Once delivered, the GENMA 3500-ton full-slewing offshore crane will not only serve the current 6MW and 8MW wind power projects, but also be able to accommodate the demand of the future project construction for the 10MW+ wind turbine foundation. In addition to that, the project also empowers hoisting operation on offshore oil platform, which can be used widely.
