New-type GENMA portal crane: New start, New opportunity
Recently, the new type “GENMA” crane being researched and development by Nantong Rainbow Heavy Machineries Co., Ltd. was tested successfully. It’s the first new type portal crane for RHM to design and manufacture with several years technological accumulation.
Experts of the State Supervision and Inspection Center for the quality supervision and inspection of hoisting and transport machinery has tested the over load，rated load, monitor system, stress, torque limiter and other inspection. They believe that the performance of the crane is stable, operation is good and design of the crane meets the requirement of National Design Specifications of Cranes. At the same time, the unique and innovative design of the crane has broad market prospects.
Design of the new type “GENMA” crane adopts low gravity and small windward. The gravity of the whole crane reduces 25% and windward reduces 20%. Electric iron shoes, travelling mechanism and wind speed instrument are interlocking in order to make sure of that wind pressure can reach 250N/m under working condition, it also makes sure of that the crane can work smoothly under strong gale. The wind pressure can reach 1250N/m under non-working condition and the crane fully meets the requirements of typhoon area and the coastal port terminals.
